AMS Slot Configuration
Configure Automatic Material System (AMS) slots for multi-filament printing
What is AMS?
The Automatic Material System (AMS) is a multi-spool feeder system that allows your printer to automatically switch between different filaments during a print. Vixvvo lets you track which filaments are loaded in each AMS slot.
Note: AMS tracking is informational only. Vixvvo does not directly control your printer's AMS system - it helps you keep track of what's loaded.

- Go to the Print Queue page
- Find your printer card

Using AMS for Print Planning
The AMS slot tracking helps you plan multi-color prints by keeping track of which colors are loaded:
- •Know at a glance which colors are loaded in each slot
- •Plan which printer to use based on loaded colors
- •Update slots when you physically change filaments
- •Avoid color mismatches in multi-color prints
Tip: Keep your AMS slot configuration up-to-date whenever you change filaments in your printer.
