Keep your account safe with password and authentication settings
Password
Changing Your Password
- 1. Go to Settings → Security
- 2. Click "Change Password"
- 3. Enter your current password
- 4. Enter your new password
- 5. Confirm your new password
- 6. Click "Update Password"
Password Requirements:
- • At least 8 characters
- • At least one uppercase letter
- • At least one number
- • Recommended: include special characters (!@#$%)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security by requiring a code from your phone when logging in.
Setting Up 2FA
- 1. Go to Settings → Security
- 2. Find "Two-Factor Authentication"
- 3. Click "Enable 2FA"
- 4. Download an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- 5. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- 6. Enter the 6-digit code from the app
- 7. Save your backup codes in a safe place
Important: Save your backup codes! If you lose access to your authenticator app, you'll need these codes to log in.
Recommended Authenticator Apps
- • Google Authenticator (iOS/Android)
- • Authy (iOS/Android/Desktop)
- • Microsoft Authenticator (iOS/Android)
- • 1Password (includes authenticator)
Active Sessions
View and manage devices where you're currently logged in.
Session Information Shows:
- • Device type (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet)
- • Browser name
- • Location (approximate)
- • Last active time
Security Actions:
- Sign Out Session: Log out of a specific device
- Sign Out All: Log out of all devices except current
Security Tip: If you see a session you don't recognize, sign it out immediately and change your password.
Login History
Review recent login attempts to your account, including successful and failed attempts.
Each Entry Shows:
- • Date and time of attempt
- • Success or failure status
- • IP address
- • Location (approximate)
- • Device/browser information
