Organize supplies and track inventory levels effectively
Using Categories
Categories help you organize supplies and quickly find what you need. Use the category filter dropdown on the Supplies page to view supplies by type.
Filtering by Category
- Click the "Category" dropdown filter
- Select a category (or "All Categories")
- The list updates to show matching supplies
- Combine with search for precise filtering
Inventory Tracking
Keep your supply quantities up to date for accurate inventory management:
Updating Quantity
Click on a supply card, then use the Edit button to update the current quantity. You can also use the quick +/- buttons for common adjustments.
Tracking Usage
When you use a supply, reduce the quantity manually. Some supplies linked to models can be automatically decremented when orders are completed.
Restocking
When you receive new supplies, update the quantity to reflect the new total. Track cost per unit to monitor price changes.
Inventory Value
The stats bar shows your total inventory value, calculated from:
Total Value = Sum of (Quantity × Cost per Unit) for all supplies
This helps you understand how much capital is tied up in supplies and plan your purchasing budget.
Tip: Keep costs per unit updated to get accurate inventory valuations. This is especially helpful for tax and business reporting.
