Low Stock Alerts

Set up notifications when supplies need restocking

How Low Stock Alerts Work

When a supply's quantity falls below your Low Stock Threshold setting, it's flagged as "Low Stock" and appears in the low stock count on the Supplies page.

Alert Indicators

  • Yellow Badge: Supply card shows a warning indicator
  • Stats Counter: "Low Stock" count in the stats bar
  • Dashboard Alert: Low stock items shown on main dashboard (if enabled)

Setting the Low Stock Threshold

The low stock threshold is a global setting that applies to all your supplies. To change it:

  1. Go to Settings from the sidebar
  2. Navigate to the Preferences tab
  3. Find the "Low Stock Threshold" option
  4. Enter your desired threshold amount (default is 500)
  5. Changes save automatically

Note: The threshold applies globally to all supplies. A supply is flagged as low stock when its quantity drops below this number.
